Port of Brookings Harbor Boardwalk
Open Daily from Dawn to 10 pm
May 19, 2024- September 8, 2024
Our exhibition is modeled on the Port of Bandon's Boardwalk Art Show, a veteran of many successful seasons.
Ken and Nola Range proposed establishing a similar event in Brookings. The Port of Bandon gave the plan their blessing. The Commissioners and Staff of the Port of Brookings Harbor sponsor the venue and Pelican Bay Arts Association sponsors and curates the exhibition.
Pelican Bay Arts Association is the curator for ART at the PORT.
PBAA is a Brookings organization established in 1955 with headquarters at Manley Art Center. It has held
nonprofit status since 1981.
PBAA also annually sponsors the Azalea Festival Art Show on Memorial Day Weekend. The show is held at Manley Art Center, 433 Oak Street, in 2022.
The Port of Brookings Harbor provides and manages the venue for
ART at the PORT.
The Port is constantly in the process of upgrading and updating their facilities and making long term plans for improvements.
The boardwalk art exhibition leads to the impressive Chetco Indian Memorial on the south end of the Boardwalk that opened in November 2020.
